Last Kiss is my favorite Song one of the few I can sing all the way thrugyh.Pearl Jam came out with a remake of the song in the 90’s. It was simular to the origmal. I can hear the tune in my head right now “WE went out on a date in my daddy’s car, we hadden driven very far, there in the road, lying straight ahead, a car was stalled the engine was dead.I couldn’t stop so I swerved to the right, I’ll never forget the sounds that night. The crying tires the bustin glass, the painful screams, that I heard last.OH where oh where can my baby be, the lord took her away from me. She gone to heaven now I got to be good. So I can see my baby when I leave this world.” Sorry I got carried away. I told you I loved that song. Wish I had a copy of the orignal. THe one tha was made before Ricky Nelson did it.

I think the original was done by the CC Riders although it didn’t do too well.

actually…Ricky Nelson did NOT do the original of Last Kiss. The original was done by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers and was the version made popular.
