Out of pure frustration I googled quicken sucks as well and came across this site. It really, really does suck. I ended up upgrading to quicken after they told me that getting online updates was no longer supported. There really aren't any worthwhile new features so they have to strongarm users into upgrading now. This version is extremly buggy. After having issues upgrading (tech support was absolutely no help) I finally started reentering years worth of investments - very tedious and painful. Now after all that work I find that Quicken 2007 has issued a patch R5 which makes it impossible to download quotes on Vista. All that work for nothing - maybe time to go to Microsoft - either that or back to 2004.

For years I really liked Intuit and was really happy to support them both with purchases of Quicken and Turbo Tax - I'm done. Intuit will never get another cent after all of this!
