Moo! The Musings of a Plaid Cow

I submitted a help desk ticket for a computer at work that has a cd drive which will not eject. This ticket has been marked completed with the following message:

> waiting on HP ticket #XXXXXXXXX, HP tech hasn’t contacted yet but when he/she can bring new drive by we will make the swap.

This problem has been marked as completed? Perhaps they are fighting some kind of turn over metrics for a new online system they are using. Or, they’re just dumb as doorknobs.
