With this nice helpful dialog, where’s the “I’ll Fix It For You” button? ![visio org chart missing.png](http://plaidcow.net/moo/images/2010/07/visio-org-chart-missing.png) Or at least a `Help` button to tell me how to enable the template for this document.

I have a 200 KB MS Word document and insert a 800 KB MS Visio document into it, giving me an 8500 KB MS Word document. I’ll update this post if I ever find out what the other 7500 KB was needed for.

With all the [hubbub](http://www.macworld.com/article/151281/2010/05/macalope_flashback.html) about the lack of Flash on the [iPhone](http://www.apple.com/iphone/), I have to question why [Microsoft](http://www.microsoft.com/) hasn’t been complaining that there isn’t a [Silverlight](http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/) plug-in either. Flash and Silverlight target the same market, don’t they? If Adobe is right, shouldn’t we be hearing the same kind of rhetoric from Microsoft?

Microsoft Word has a way of making disk space magically disappear: 1. Start with an `89 KB` Word Document. 2. Insert an object, a `3675 KB` Visio Document. 3. End with a `22,380 KB` Word Document. Amazing!
