Last Thursday I got this email late in the afternoon talking about the snowstorm that was forecast for the next day:

> Attention Massachusetts Employees:
>
> As of Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for Greater Massachusetts for tomorrow morning, Friday 12/9, to remain in effect throughout the day. Snow is expected to begin around 5-7am tomorrow with heaviest snowfall starting at 9am and continuing through the day, with possible accumulation of up to two inches per hour and a total accumulation of up to 12 inches in some areas. This snowfall is expected to continue through 9pm tomorrow evening.
>
> Employees are encouraged to tune into WBZ radio (AM 1030) Boston Ma. tomorrow morning for additional information regarding any potential impact to company operations in Massachusetts. **At this time we do not expect any changes to our regular business hours of operation, and we expect all facilities in the Northeast to remain open throughout the day.**
>
> **As always, please drive safely and use caution when traveling in bad weather.**

And the forecast was spot on. A foot of snow.
