Getting Your Year In Court

October 16th, 2008 | Tags: ,

**Question: Do you agree that a lawsuit isn’t frivolous until a court declares it so?**

Frivolous lawsuits are a plague on this country’s court system. The problem isn’t, as Senator Chambers stated “standing at the courthouse door to predetermine who has access to the courts,” but rather that these lawsuits clog the courtrooms, hallways, entry ways and spill out into the street, putting people who need real justice at the back of a very long line. It costs everyone when it can take years to settle a lawsuit that should never have seen the light of day.
