**Question: Is it important to retain bilingual over English speaking teachers if job cuts are necessary?**

The school district should only be concerned with keeping the best teachers. It’s god that they don’t look at nationality, but why are they concerned with certifications and seniority? Our kids deserve the best education from the best teachers. Keeping an ineffective teacher in the classroom because of tenure? Somebody needs to explain to me how this can happen in America.
