Moo! The Musings of a Plaid Cow

This draft made much more sense back in October. Before the election. I guess I shouldn’t sit on ideas too long. It drove me nuts when watching the evening news, because every newscaster reports on the Red vs. Blue race. It’s not a Red vs Blue country: we’re all freaking PURPLE. If you want to say a state is Red with 55% or blue with 51% because that’s what the people will understand, fine. But I will be looking at [FiveThirtyEight.com][1], which shows the purple country with enough mathematics to make the your head spin.

They aren’t trying to boil it down to a single number and a sound byte. They aren’t trying to dumb it down for the average person.
